A Multitude of Gifts

I want to participate in embracing life moments as gift be them hard or easy. One of my favorite blogs to read is Ann Voskamp’s www.aholyexperience.com So I join her and many others now in giving thanks for one thousand gifts:

Brothers and sisters taking care of their mama together

A husband tearing out bathroom walls

Friends praying

Recognizing my own weakness

Sisters chasing up and down the hall and up and down and up and down

Skyping with friends on the other side of the world

Receiving forgiveness

Thirty minutes of sobbing like a baby for my mom’s pain

Cooking with my big girl

Hearing my daughters help and thank each other

Saying goodbye to my baby niece

A church family eager to serve and take risks for God’s kingdom

To be continued….

  1. I’m here from Ann’s – and it’s Thursday – but you know how many there were to get through – and I love reading them. It just took me this long to get to yours.

    When I read through the lists I like to think about it a little and pick a favorite – my favorite from yours had to be: Hearing my daughters help and thank each other (I have nieces who bicker all day long – but when one is gone all the other can think of is when their sister is getting back – and you can feel the missing – so I really get this one) {smile}

    I’m really glad I read you today.

    God Bless and keep you and all of yours
