Brothers and Sisters Part 2 (Modern Edition)

I walked into Mom’s hospice room today after another five-hour drive to be greeted with my brother picking me up to re-enact the photo I posted yesterday. It was pretty funny and fun! But, it wasn’t as fun as it used to be. I didn’t get a lot of air if you know what I mean. But I’m so glad to be here with my family and to be able to still laugh some. I just had to share it with you.

We are here with my mom. She had a rally day, and I’m glad I was here for it.

We don’t know what will happen tomorrow, but do we ever? Why do life crises or transitions merely confirm what is already true in such an obvious way?

May the peace of Christ be with us all today. And tomorrow. Amen.
